if you understand the way that pansexuality is used in a biphobic context and that it was popularized by biphobes and ignorant people trying to be inclusive without actually understanding what bisexuality IS and you still just prefer to call yourself pan because its more comfortable and you feel it fits you more, thats whatever. thats fine.

but PLEASE analyse your bias and why you prefer pan over bi. because it feels more inclusive? biphobia. because you feel like bisexuality comes w baggage? biphobia. because bi means two and pan means all? biphobia. because you think pan is the new bi and bi is outdated? guess what. biphobia.

bi has always been what pan claims to be. they are the same identity. they are 100% the same and every argument that ive seen trying to separate them has been either wildly biphobic, transphobic or a mix of the two. theyre the same. if you call yourself pan and dont acknowledge that they are the same, you are a biphobe.

pansexual, omnisexual, polysexual, multisexual are ALL just different words for bi. bi is all of these experiences. call yourself what you want, but remember that these are the same thing.
